Things I Learned in 2019

Image
It’s has been one hell of a year, truly one of the craziest years of my life. I moved to a different city all on my own, started doing a full-time job, met so many people and lord I survived all of that.  Here are some of the things I learnt in 2019 through my not-so-glamorous experiences. Moving to a different city and living alone is No Joke! Remember in Wake up Sid When Konkana Sen Sharma moved to her apartment and everyone was throwing paint on the wall and seemed so happy. Let me tell you, it doesn’t happen in real life. Living alone is a pain, suddenly you are responsible for everything little in your house. But what an awakening experience. It gives you so much control and responsibility it’s crazy. If you can survive this I am sure you can survive anything. Here is a picture of my cute balcony, I will always remember this place as my first home. So special! Taking care of your own expenses means you are already winning. I have always been someone who

It's more than a Mood swing!

When you are having a bad day and you are all cranky, and then suddenly someone jumps in and say ’ARE YOU ON YOUR PERIODS?’ with a slight laugh. I think that's the most offensive joke of the century. Periods are no joke, from hormones fluctuations to emotional fluctuations. We go through it all every month. And let's not get started with the physicality of it. The SASSJOURNAL (Silvy Mehta) said ”I get horrible cramps and abdomen aches a day before and on the first day or my periods upto the point where I cannot even stand straight and i puke all day bcz of such intense pain.I have to end up taking pain killers every month if i have to continue doing the regular chores. Don’t even ask about the mood swings and cravings i get a week before 😂 I sometimes experience breast tenderness as well.” I asked many girls on my Instagram and they said, how bad there cramps are, pain is mostly unbearable. Girls suffering from PCOS go through the worse, I tell you. But the neglec

THINGS 2018 TAUGHT ME!

Image
2018 has been a crazy ride so far. As I bid goodbye to this weirdly awesome year I would like to list down a few things that 2018 taught me. 1. PERSEVERANCE is the key. It’s hard to beat a person who never gives up. I am trying to be that person everyday of my life. Also I am an Aries, losing doesn’t seem to be an option for me. 2. HUMILITY. Now I know what’s most attractive ‘Humility’. I shall try to be humble all through this time, keep my feet on the ground and FLY. 3. CHANGE IS THE ONLY CONSTANT. Most of the time you feel stuck and choked because of the people around. I never realised it, but our surroundings is a major part of your growth. And if you can’t see the growth, it’s time to CHANGE! 4. SPEAKING THINGS INTO EXISTENCE.     This is uncomfortable, okay?     Talking about things I want to do in life, About my goals, Future plans. Just actually talking about all of this is very uncomfortable for me. But I recently started doing it and

BEST PHOTO EDITING APPS/ VINTAGE EDIT

Image
Hello everyone, This has to be the most asked question on my instagram, how do you edit your pictures? After watching 1 zillion YouTube videos and failing miserably half of the time I finally found my aesthetic or something that works for me. My Feed is based on a dark color vintage theme which you all seem to love a lot and personally I am happy with it too. I love the whole mysterious vintage old school vibes. So here I am sharing my favourite editing apps, apps I use to achieve my desired theme. 1. VSCO VSCO is one of the most handy photo editing app. If you want to make your Instagram more aesthetically pleasing this app is your answer. The trick is to use same filters for every picture. I use A4 or sometimes A6 2. FACETUNE It is like a mini photoshop. I literally retouch using this ap obviously not that professionally but it works for me. I basically use it for whitening my background makes a whole lot of difference. This app is a must have 3. AFTERLIGHT This a

ROMWE India review and haul

Hello guys, So after SheIn started their services  in India I wrote a review covering all the doubts and FAQS about SheIn. So this time I am reviewing ROMWE which is very similar to SheIn they have a similar range or more of the same. They recently started COD in India so if you are planning to shop from there I hope this blog makes it easy for you. Starting from the quality, yes the quality is kind of average like SheIn, some are great too but for the price I don’t really mind. ROMWE has the same stuff as SheIn but cheaper some of them are almost half the price so I will suggest you to go through both the websites and then decide smartly because they quality and everything is kind of the same. The main key to shop from ROMWE and SheIn is to read the review given below each product wherein the customer write their review of the particular product along with the pictures so that makes it easy to decide because yes the products and the fit is quite unpredictable in here. I love shop

Yassssss, you heard it right 50 bucks seriously? I mean you can even get it for less ohhh yaahhhh! I love trends and the fact it's always changing excites me till death. But let's admit it, keeping up with trends can cost you quite a lot of money plus there are few trends which are ridiculously overpriced. One of them being this 'ALL NEW, ALMOST EVERYWHERE' trend called the 'PEARL TREND. It is all over ZARA, MANGO, ASOS and where not. Even though I am obsessed with fashion I don't like spending my money just for the sake of it. So I decided to DIY it instead. I literally made this skirt for 50 bucks whaaatttt! All you need is, FABRIC GLUE SOME LOOSE PEARLS (flat from one side) HAIRDRYER (optional) It is so simple I can't even tell you and yes the glue holds the pearl better than you can expect. 'Just put some glue and stick the pearls over it. Let it air dry or even you can try it with your hairdryer. This is the step by step picture series.
