THINGS 2018 TAUGHT ME!

Image
2018 has been a crazy ride so far. As I bid goodbye to this weirdly awesome year I would like to list down a few things that 2018 taught me. 1. PERSEVERANCE is the key. It’s hard to beat a person who never gives up. I am trying to be that person everyday of my life. Also I am an Aries, losing doesn’t seem to be an option for me. 2. HUMILITY. Now I know what’s most attractive ‘Humility’. I shall try to be humble all through this time, keep my feet on the ground and FLY. 3. CHANGE IS THE ONLY CONSTANT. Most of the time you feel stuck and choked because of the people around. I never realised it, but our surroundings is a major part of your growth. And if you can’t see the growth, it’s time to CHANGE! 4. SPEAKING THINGS INTO EXISTENCE.     This is uncomfortable, okay?     Talking about things I want to do in life, About my goals, Future plans. Just actually talking about all of this is very uncomfortable for me. But I recently s...

BEST PHOTO EDITING APPS/ VINTAGE EDIT

Image
Hello everyone, This has to be the most asked question on my instagram, how do you edit your pictures? After watching 1 zillion YouTube videos and failing miserably half of the time I finally found my aesthetic or something that works for me. My Feed is based on a dark color vintage theme which you all seem to love a lot and personally I am happy with it too. I love the whole mysterious vintage old school vibes. So here I am sharing my favourite editing apps, apps I use to achieve my desired theme. 1. VSCO VSCO is one of the most handy photo editing app. If you want to make your Instagram more aesthetically pleasing this app is your answer. The trick is to use same filters for every picture. I use A4 or sometimes A6 2. FACETUNE It is like a mini photoshop. I literally retouch using this ap obviously not that professionally but it works for me. I basically use it for whitening my background makes a whole lot of difference. This app is a must have 3. AFTERLIGHT This a...

ROMWE India review and haul

Image
Hello guys, So after SheIn started their services  in India I wrote a review covering all the doubts and FAQS about SheIn. So this time I am reviewing ROMWE which is very similar to SheIn they have a similar range or more of the same. They recently started COD in India so if you are planning to shop from there I hope this blog makes it easy for you. Starting from the quality, yes the quality is kind of average like SheIn, some are great too but for the price I don’t really mind. ROMWE has the same stuff as SheIn but cheaper some of them are almost half the price so I will suggest you to go through both the websites and then decide smartly because they quality and everything is kind of the same. The main key to shop from ROMWE and SheIn is to read the review given below each product wherein the customer write their review of the particular product along with the pictures so that makes it easy to decide because yes the products and the fit is quite unpredictable in here. I love ...

Hottest trend DIY

Image
Yassssss, you heard it right 50 bucks seriously? I mean you can even get it for less ohhh yaahhhh! I love trends and the fact it's always changing excites me till death. But let's admit it, keeping up with trends can cost you quite a lot of money plus there are few trends which are ridiculously overpriced. One of them being this 'ALL NEW, ALMOST EVERYWHERE' trend called the 'PEARL TREND. It is all over ZARA, MANGO, ASOS and where not. Even though I am obsessed with fashion I don't like spending my money just for the sake of it. So I decided to DIY it instead. I literally made this skirt for 50 bucks whaaatttt! All you need is, FABRIC GLUE SOME LOOSE PEARLS (flat from one side) HAIRDRYER (optional) It is so simple I can't even tell you and yes the glue holds the pearl better than you can expect. 'Just put some glue and stick the pearls over it. Let it air dry or even you can try it with your hairdryer. This is the step by step picture series. ...

Just chillin!

Image
Long time no see love. This blogpost is titled as 'JUST CHILLIN' because it's my blog I can call it whatever I want to. Hah! On a serious note this is a super chill blog and a very random photoshoot. But RED is def the color of this season and like everyone else I just can't get enough of it. Also I know I have a wardrobe full of clothes but all I want to wear is my brother's old clothes and mama's old jewellery, I know I am just weird and there is nothing you can actually do about it. So, for this look I borrowed my brother's shirt (he doesnt even wear these so it's officially mine now) and to contribute to the pearl trend that's going on I borrowed my mother's old pearl necklace (which she even doesn't care about) to amplify this look. My point is you can be on trend you just need to have a vision about it. To be fancy you don't have to have fancy things just your vision and creativity, so look around you, hottest trends are waitin...

5 TIPS FOR DURGA PUJO 2017

Image
First of all Subho Mahalya everyone. May this festive season bring all the colors and happiness into your life.  I am super excited about this festive month as much as you are. But I feel you girls I know this pujo can be quite stressful for us so I came up with 5 tips that will help you go through this pujo a little bit easier. 1. KEEP YOUR MAKEUP WATERPROOF. I know how it feels when you are all dolled up in your best clothes best makeup and then the climate plays you. Be it humidity or rain there is nothing worse than a melting makeup that leaves you looking super cakey and dull as hell. So if you are one of those who likes wearing makeup, make sure you wear a waterproof foundation. My favorite one is 'MILANI CONCEAL AND PERFECT'. This is the foundation I wear during my shoots and trust me this is really lightweight and waterptoof. Try it and you will thank me later.
